Who We Are
We work all across the world but always with one goal: deliver amazing designs with amazing customer service.
Our team currently consists of a professional web designer with occasional auxiliary help from others around the world when needed. Our main bases and hubs of business are in Latin America (Brazil) and North America (the United States) which is why our site and all of our work offerings are available in both English and Portuguese. We come from humble roots but aspire to higher things.
On the web development side our team lead has been building websites since the early 2000s with a varied toolkit and settled down on WordPress later on when it was clear that was the direction the internet had decided to move in. We later focused that mission in even more precisely building our business primarily around Oxygen since it is one of the most powerful builders for WordPress out there, and using WooCommerce for time-tested e-commerce.
How We Started
Humbly.
We had previously worked alongside graphic design firms, helping us get a view into the industry from the inside. After having seen how things were currently being done and with a passion for quality art we decided to start working on our own firm and helping turn people's design goals into a reality in an accessible and uplifting way. We knew that we weren't the first to the game regarding web design, but wanted to put our own spin on it with an extremely stringent belief in and focus on high quality customer service no matter the industry, and a similarly stringent belief in quality work as well.
We didn't start in a garage nor in a backyard. Frankly, our story is more boring than even that: we started with computers. Technology has helped enable us to launch our business without any formal headquarters or even common basing. The beauty of Yours Truly is that it is more than just a physical business: it's both an idea and a business that is truly global and truly unifying in being so.
We started the company completely bootstrapped, essentially "living on a prayer" but believing we had a solid product that would be worth giving the company a shot for. When we wrote this we were still seeing whether that dream would pan out, but considering you're reading this, we have a good feeling it did!
What We Believe
Love.
Our firm is founded by a Christian and despite our fallen human imperfections, it is likewise founded with Christian ideas at the core. Most prominently this is the idea of unconditional love and treating all people with respect, even "those who curse" us. We believe that such an idea was revolutionary when it was first brought up and is just as ground-shaking today. And we believe that the best companies aspire to treat people likewise!
We believe in giving honest work, maintaining transparency with our clients and team, being profitable but not profit-centered, and in making every moment count with what we do. We believe that we're called to a noble mission and that Yours Truly is just one way of fulfilling that! This message isn't here to indoctrinate but hopefully to inspire and provide clarity on how we aspire to conduct our business.
Our customer is at the very core of all we do because we believe that how we treat them does not exist in a vacuum from how we are supposed to treat every human: respectfully and kindly. We do an imperfect job of this, as any normal human does, but this is what we aspire to. Thank you for visiting us!
