Timing

We've been customers ourselves before, and so we know what it's like to need something by a certain time or to be anxiously awaiting something. Every time we conclude the initial sale of a Selection we also create a timing guarantee for the work that has been ordered. Depending on the work that has been ordered (since we offer a variety of different services), we will also have milestones clearly marked for checking-in and if applicable, revisions or customer input requests.

About Selections:

Our system of work at Yours Truly revolves around a simple concept called "Selections". Unlike some design companies, we don't work by building up a set base of clients with long-term contracts. Instead, we use our Selections system to allow us to work as a design firm yet freelance style.

Selections allow us to better organize/regulate things in order to maintain a better work-life balance for our designers, leading to better work as a result! They also allow us to get to know many different customers ❤
What's a Selection?
A "Selection" is a specific agreement on services we'll provide, with a contract specific to that Selection. Instead of, for example, a monthly contract encompassing whatever work a client requests during that month, a Selection specifies the exact work that is requested under that specific contract. Once that work is over and completed to our customer's liking, they can either go off on their way or can order another Selection from us if they have some more things they would like for us to do!
Can I only order one Selection at a time?
Nope! While we don't allow a customer to abuse the Selections system taking too many Selections out at once, in general Customers can have more than one Selection in process at a time.

In fact, if a customer is interested in more than one Selection offering at a time, they can order them at the same time and they will be combined into one "Selection" for the customer, with one Contract. For example if you want both the Graphic Starter Kit and Web Complete Kit, we would combine those into the Graphic+Web Design Kit (Selection) for you and deliver that entire service for you as one Selection!
How do Revisions work?
Every work we do comes with at least one Revision guaranteed & included with it, so that if a client isn't fully happy with the product we can alter it to their liking before delivery. Each Selection offering has a specific number of Revisions allotted for it depending on what that Selection is. If combining Selections into a Selection, the new Selection (result of the combo) will have a set number of Revisions included with it as specified in the contract that comes with it.

All of these come with the ability to purchase more Revisions if necessary!
Why do you use the Selections system rather than Clients? Do you make exceptions—will you take me on as a client?
We use the Selections system because once upon a time, we did graphic design work for other firms and found out we prefer it this way. This way we are able to have clearly defined services and projects, where our customers (and us!) know exactly what to expect each time they want work done. That allows us to put high standards on every piece of work we do, as each work is treated more like an individual project!

This style of work also lets us reach more customers and allows our designers to essentially freelance within our company. They've found that this style of work offers a better work-life balance for them and allows them to enjoy their work more.

We currently haven't and aren't planning to make exceptions to our system, however if you are still interested, we encourage you to reach out to us letting us know that! In the mean time, we have a kickin' Loyalty Program that repeat clients can be part of!

Our websites are built in WordPress using Oxygen, one of the very best building tools out there. Unlike traditional site builders, Oxygen outputs clean code behind-the-scenes meaning its sites naturally run faster and have better SEO. It also allows us to customize your site in more detailed ways. Alongside Oxygen, we use some of the best plugins out there to make sure sites we build are at the very top of their game in every area.

Sites built with Oxygen tend to be some of the fastest out there, besides those coded by hand. This means better SEO, reduced bounce rates (people leaving your site because it's too slow), and let's face it, some bragging rights!
Highly tailorable
Oxygen is built closer to CSS than a typical builder, yet is still visual. This means we can professionally build out your site for you beautifully and responsively, tailor it with more detailed edits just for you, then hand it off you to while still leaving you with a visual builder.

Oxygen allows us to build your entire site "responsively", meaning it will look beautiful and function properly whether it's being visited on a computer, phone, or tablet. Better code and plugins we use allow us to help your SEO and get listed high up on search engines.

Every site we build is built with our client (you!) in mind first and foremost. We make sure the site is looking how you like it and include you at key steps of the process. We purposely build in WordPress, since it's so easy to manage a site with that around 43% of sites worldwide use it.

Pricing

Our pricing is always clear right up-front and we do our best to make our prices both competitive and accessible for people, while remaining profitable. Our prices are regularly much more affordable than many competitors, while we still try to price our products fairly for us as well, given the benefits and hard work that every one of them includes. We know some people prefer different marketplaces, like Etsy and Fiverr, and therefore we offer our services through those marketplaces as well; but due to their platform fees, our cheapest prices are consistently here on our site!
